My PT Story began after my car accident. My doctor referred me to Restore when she noticed I was not getting relief from muscle relaxants and medications. I needed my shoulders, neck and jaw to relax after the impact. My PT was so kind and we connected the very first visit. She took the time to really listen to me and hear what I was saying she evaluated my condition. After that first treatment, I knew I had a gem of a physical therapist. I appreciated how she explained things. I look forward to a healthy pain-free
Before my TKR surgery I was told that PT would play an integral role in my recovery. I didn’t know exactly what to expect. Immediately when I arrived for my first session I was put at ease and made to feel welcome (by all the staff). It was explained to me how we would proceed. Over the weeks of PT, my therapist quickly established a rapport with me. She became my cheerleader, encouraging me and always challenging me to take that extra step. She had a wealth of information on physiology and the workings of the skeletal and muscular systems of the human body. She took the time to answer my questions and address my concerns. Due to her working with me I am progressing quite well with movement and strength in my replaced knee. Surgery was 8 weeks ago. My physical therapist has also given me home exercises to do, making sure I understood them and could perform them correctly. Before I was released from PT, she said I could call her anytime if I had any concerns or questions. Overall, my PT experience was extremely helpful.
My PT was amazing, very kind and gentle. I was apprehensive about pelvic floor therapy. But everyone was so nice and professional that they really put my nerves at ease. I’d highly recommend Restore for your physical therapy needs! I can honestly say I will miss going to physical therapy!
I went in on referral thinking this wasn’t going to help. I was wrong!!!! Within a week of doing my exercises, I saw results! It has been the best thing I’ve ever done. Now I don’t have to worry about missing work or events! My PT was awesome! Helped understand what was happening and how to fix it! I will always have these exercises to do keep me going strong in life! Thanks to my PT and Restore!
My PT Story started six months and two cortisone injections after my toe surgery. I was so pleased with the care my PT gave me. She used ASTYM tools to increase the blood flow to my affected area and it really helped. She taught me to correct the way I walked so I was no longer in pain. I appreciated the way she asked questions and really listened to my answers. Treatment was effective and now I feel liberated from the pain.
I have had several appointments with my PT at Restore Physical Therapy and she is fantastic! She helped me recover after meniscus surgery last year and again this year with my elbow and back injuries. She is kind, courteous, and very knowledgeable. She knew exactly how to help me and what I needed most to recover from my injuries. I’ve found my PT for life! The staff is very friendly with a welcoming smile each time I walk through the door. Their office is convenient, very inviting, and has a warm feeling. It’s even decorated charmingly. I give 5 stars because there’s nothing I’d change about it.
Started going to see my PT when I was eight months pregnant. I could barely walk from pubic bone pain. She had me walking again within a few days and has helped me strengthen my pelvic floor to prepare for delivery and she’s also helping me postpartum. Pelvic floor therapy should be part of every woman’s prenatal and postpartum care. They even helped me clear a clogged milk duct with their heat therapy!
The office is very warm and welcoming. All the staff are very helpful and they have even held my newborn and watched my two younger boys while I got work done on my back. They are so amazing here, don’t hesitate to call and make an appointment! You will not be disappointed.
I am so happy that my doctor referred me to Restore Physical Therapy. I have been coming for pelvic floor rehabilitation for a few months and feel that this physical therapy treatment has been one of the best things I have ever done in my entire life. I honestly feel that I was guided to Restore Physical Therapy. I struggled with severe endometriosis for many years and endured multiple treatments and surgeries including total hysterectomy at a very young age. I also developed interstitial cystitis and underwent a variety of treatments and procedures for this condition as well. Needless to say, pelvic pain, urinary urgency and frequency, and painful intercourse have been part of my life for a very long time.
Through my treatment at Restore Physical Therapy, I have been taught many things and been given many tools that I have been able to use to help retrain my bladder as well as relax my pelvic muscles, which were extremely tight when we started therapy. I am now generally able to go much longer without emptying my bladder. Additionally, the pain in my lower back that I have struggled with for many years, is so much better. I do still have occasional flares in my symptoms, and I do understand there is no cure for interstitial cystitis. My current symptoms are definitely not perfect and I know they never will be, but I feel like I have hope now as I continue to learn new things to help me as I deal with these chronic health challenges. I highly recommend Restore Physical Therapy to anyone struggling with pelvic pain and interstitial cystitis.
My PT Story started when my spouse recommended I try PT. When I was in the Marine Corps 30 years ago I broke my thumb on one hand and my wrist on the other but was never offered PT. My thumb had limited range of motion, both had the tingling sensation of being asleep and sometimes carpal tunnel would flare up. My therapist was excited to work on an old injury. After the first visit, there was a vast amount of improvement. Only 6 visits in and my hands were as good as they were 30 years ago. It was hard to tell who was more excited about my recovery – me or my PT!
A few months ago, I was having lots of trouble and pain trying to control my bladder. I was wearing Depends 24 hours a day and using 2-3 a night. During the day I used several due to urinary urges and leakages. My urologist referred me to Restore Physical Therapy for pelvic therapy. After 7 weeks of therapy and exercises I make only one bathroom trip at night and no leakages. I don’t wear Depends anymore and I am back to wearing my regular underwear. I am keeping up my exercise and my control has progressed greatly. Restore Physical Therapy was very enjoyable and my PT was a very competent and friendly therapist. I recommend Restore Physical Therapy and give them a 5 out of 5 star rating.
– a very satisfied customer
I came to Restore for post-partum diastasis recti and pelvic floor help after the birth of my 5th baby. I was hesitant to do physical therapy but within just 3 or 4 weeks I was already seeing and experiencing a lot of progress! I would recommend PFPT (pelvic floor physical therapy) to ANYONE no matter how many babies they have had! Don’t wait until you need to repair those muscles. PT can help you maintain them.
