Yesenia is a physical therapist with a passion for providing customized care to rehabilitate patients to their prior level of function and improve their overall quality of life. She treats a variety of orthopedic conditions such as post-surgical care including rotator cuff repair and total joint replacements, mobility impairments, and vestibular dysfunction.
She received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Boise State University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University in Goodyear, AZ. She has specialized training in manual therapy techniques, including Strain Counterstrain and instrument-assisted mobilization. Her treatments are evidence-based manual therapy techniques, coupled with therapeutic exercise and functional movement training. She is also fluent in Spanish.
Yesenia spends her free-time cooking, gardening, and playing volleyball. She enjoys time with her husband and three daughters exploring the outdoors, traveling and learning new things.
